Ed Crawford’s journey in the electrical trade industry began at 17, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to excellence. Ed fully immersed himself in the field beginning in 2011 when he joined Schuman Electric. Specializing in the residential sector, Ed’s dedication and expertise have propelled him to the role of Regional Office Manager in Yulee.
In addition to his responsibilities at Schuman, Ed has been a professor for NEFA at Keiser University since 2017. His passion for education and commitment to sharing his knowledge with others are evident in his continued teaching endeavors.
Ed’s educational journey is as diverse as his professional background. After graduating from Benedictine Military High School, he pursued studies in Marine Biology and Anthropology at Emory University, followed by a stint in chemistry at Armstrong State College. Eventually, Ed found his calling in medicine, earning his MD from Mercer University School of Medicine. He practiced pediatric medicine from 1994 to 2010 before transitioning to the electrical industry.
Outside of work and teaching, Ed enjoys pursuing his hobbies, which include collecting antique guns and toys. These pursuits provide him with relaxation and enjoyment outside his busy professional and academic commitments.
